Join an international fintech providing flexible funding to SMEs across Australia, APAC and Europe. You'll help keep the data behind its dashboards and reports accurate, reliable and maintainable.

What You'll Do

- Build and maintain SQL and Python transformations and Snowflake data pipelines, using Fivetran for ingestion.
- Test changes to Snowflake Dynamic Tables and other structures, checking that refreshes run as expected.
- Follow the team's Git workflow, including branches, pull requests and code reviews, and document your work so others can maintain it.
- Help onboard new data sources while keeping data models and conventions consistent.
- Monitor pipeline health, flag failures or delays early and help resolve them.
- Work with the Lead Analytics Engineer to deliver scoped data requests for BI and Insights colleagues.

Role: Junior Analytics Engineer

Location: Toorak, Melbourne.

Work arrangement: Office-based

Compensation: AUD $80,000-$90,000 base plus superannuation

Who We're Looking For

You enjoy getting the numbers right and can take a scoped data task through implementation, checks and clear documentation.

Must-Haves

- Good SQL and Python skills you can apply to building and maintaining data transformations.
- Some exposure to Snowflake,



Fivetran or a comparable cloud data stack—you don't need experience with every named tool.
- The ability to test changes, check refreshes and document your work clearly.
- Basic Git knowledge or a genuine willingness to learn branches, pull requests and code reviews, ask questions and apply feedback.
- Fluent English for explicit communication about data requests, checks and issues.

Nice-To-Haves

- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and/or Fivetran.
- Familiarity with Snowflake Dynamic Tables.
- Experience using Git in a shared codebase.
- Experience delivering scoped pipeline changes with guidance from a more experienced engineer; architecture ownership or team leadership isn't expected.
- Familiarity with lending, fintech or SME reporting data. Experience from other industries is welcome.
