Our Airlie Beach branch, Reef Cool by Trimech, services the beautiful Whitsundays region, providing quality solutions to residential and commercial customers.

The Opportunity

As Service Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day operations of our Airlie Beach service department.

Along side the Branch Manager, You'll lead a team of technicians and apprentices, oversee service delivery and ensure our customers continue to receive the high standard of service Trimech is known for.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of HVAC and refrigeration technicians.
- Manage daily service operations, including scheduling, job allocation and workflow.
- Oversee preventative maintenance, breakdowns and reactive service work.
- Monitor job profitability, productivity, labour utilisation and operational performance.
- Ensure jobs are completed efficiently, safely and to a high standard.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the service team.
- Drive accountability,



continuous improvement and positive team culture.
- Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, company policies and industry standards.
- Work closely with senior management to achieve branch and business objectives.

About You

We're looking for an experienced industry professional who is confident leading people and managing a busy service department.

To be successful, you'll bring:

- Proven experience in an HVAC, refrigeration or mechanical services management role.
- Strong technical understanding of commercial and residential HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Demonstrated experience managing technicians, workloads and service delivery.
- Strong organisational, scheduling and problem-solving abilities.
- Commercial awareness, including job costing, profitability and performance management.
- Excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- A commitment to workplace safety, quality and team development.
- Relevant industry qualifications and a current driver's licence.

Experience with Simpro or similar field service management software will be highly regarded.
