Sydney CBD – 5 days in the office - $38-43/hr + super – 10-month temporary role
Company Background
Our client is a luxury retail brand with operations globally. Their Australian office is currently entering into their busy period and are seeking a talented Assistant Accountant to support them through their year-end. No working from home is available, but offices are conveniently located in the CBD close to a range of public transport links.
The Role
As the Assistant Accountant, you will be working closely with a team of 6 across both the Sydney Office and the Regional office. It is a full-function chance, and you will be responsible for:
- Allocations and sales reconciliations
- Balance sheet & bank reconciliations
- Journal preparation and posting (accruals, prepayments)
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Assisting with P&L; preparation
- Assisting with cash flow forecasting
Your Background
To be considered for this Assistant Accountant position, you will have the following skills and attributes:
- Available immediately
- 2-3+ years’ experience in similar roles
- Strong reconciliations experience
- Degree qualified and/or working towards CA/CPA
- SAP experience is essential
- Experience within retail/fashion or other products-based environments is highly regarded
