- Participate in the preparation of samples and solutions for tertiary laboratory analysis.
- Responsible for the receipt, storage, retrieval and disposal of study samples, according to company SOPs.
- Work with lab personnel, sponsors, and sample sites to identify and resolve sample discrepancies.
- Ensure that all sample information is handled with the highest level of confidentiality.
- Maintain and update the laboratory inventories, including chemical reagents, consumables and reference materials.
- Maintain the security of the sample storage facility.
- Ensure all freezers/fridges are working properly and maintained according to SOPs and PM schedule.
- Maintain the temperature & humidity monitoring software as per SOPs.
- Support internal/external audits, as needed.
- Packing and dispatching items to other laboratories and sponsors as needed.
- Carry out routine calibration and maintenance of basic equipment.
- Assist in laboratory and office supplies ordering.
- Undertake administrative tasks such as entering data, filing and scanning.
- Assists with any additional tasks based on business or departmental needs, as assigned by management.

Requirements





- High school diploma with at least one year of relevant work experience or higher, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience as deemed appropriate by management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented and responsible.
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as work independently.
- Strong collaboration, time management, and organizational skills.
- Good Microsoft Office skills (Word and Excel).
- Experience with sample handling in an industrial laboratory.
- Good understanding of GLP (FDA, EMA and OECD) and GCP regulations (as applicable), as well as 21 CFR Part 11 (electronic records and electronic signatures).
- Experience with Laboratory Information Management System for sample handling.

Summary

Manages the chain of custody of samples from receiving to disposal; manages the laboratory inventory and maintains the security, compliance, and confidentiality of the sample storage facility.
