About the role

This is a fixed term part-time role working 15 hours per week up to 30 June 2028 with a possibility of extension.

The General Practitioner plays a central role within the clinical team, delivering comprehensive, patient-centred and evidence-based primary healthcare to individuals and families across all stages of life. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment, the General Practitioner contributes to coordinated care planning and supports positive health outcomes for the community.

Skills & Experience

1. Current full registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), without conditions that restrict practice.
Either:
Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), or
Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM)
2. Current and appropriate medical indemnity insurance.
3. Demonstrated commitment to best practice,



patient-centred care and ongoing professional development.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients from diverse backgrounds.
