If you're mechanically minded, confident with tools and enjoy hands-on work, we want to hear from you!

Job Connect is recruiting Mechanical Assemblers to join a leading international manufacturer of high quality mobile plant and machines at their modern Hendraworkshop.

This isn't your typical production line job. You'll be part of a team building some seriously impressive machinery, working across different stages of production as individual components come together to create a fully operational crane.

And the best part? You don't need to be a qualified mechanic or tradesperson!

What Will You Be Doing?

Working alongside experienced team members, you'll be involved in various stages of crane manufacturing, including:

- Fitting and assembling mechanical components and equipment
- Installing parts, accessories and mechanical assemblies
- Working with hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment
- Assisting with the installation of hydraulic and other mechanical systems
- Following assembly instructions to build and fit components correctly
- Working across different production areas as cranes progress towards completion

You'll receive on-the-job training and have opportunities to develop your skills across different areas of the manufacturing process.

Who Are We Looking For?

We're not necessarily looking for someone with a trade certificate or years of factory experience.

We're looking for someone who genuinely knows their way around mechanical equipment and tools.

Your experience could come from:

- Cars, 4WDs or engines – servicing, repairs, modifications or rebuilding
- Boats and marine equipment – fitting components, repairs or mechanical work
- Caravans, trailers or campers – building,

maintaining or installing equipment
- Mechanical workshops – trade assistant, workshop hand or assembly experience
- Machinery or equipment maintenance – replacing parts, servicing or mechanical repairs
- Hands-on mechanical projects – practical experience building, repairing or restoring equipment

You don't need to have done all of these things. If you have a good mechanical understanding, can confidently use tools and know how things go together, we want to talk to you.

You'll also need reliable transport, full Australian working rights, the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a genuine interest in long-term employment.

What's in It for You?

- $39 / hr + Penalties and positive Overtime Opportunities when busy
- Consistent 38 hours per week
- 6am starts and early finishes on Fridays
- Saturday overtime opportunities for extra penalty rates!
- Additional 30 minutes' paid travel compensation when working overtime
- Supportive team and excellent workplace safety standards
- Free on-site parking
- Regular team bonding events and sponsored lunches!

Turn Your Mechanical Skills Into a Career Building Something Impressive!

If you're good with your hands, enjoy working on engines or mechanical equipment and want to be part of building machinery that's a little bigger than your average car or 4WD, this could be exactly the opportunity you've been looking for.

No trade certificate? No problem. Practical mechanical experience and the right attitude are what we're looking for.

APPLY NOW! Tell us a little about your mechanical background, whether it's working on cars, boats, machinery, caravans or similar equipment. We'd love to hear what you've worked on!
