About the role

Sydney North Shore Nannies is seeking caring, reliable, experienced and enthusiastic nannies to join our growing network of childcare professionals across Sydney's North Shore and surrounding areas. We offer a variety of versatile opportunities to suit different experience levels, availability and lifestyle preferences, with positions ranging from newborn care and overnight support to before and after-school care, full-day nannying, casual babysitting and hotel babysitting for visiting families.

Key responsibilities

- Newborn Care: Supporting families with newborns, including feeding, settling, establishing routines and providing attentive, nurturing care.
- Overnight Nannying: Providing overnight support for newborns, babies and young children, allowing parents to rest while knowing their children are in safe hands.
- Before and After-School Care: Assisting with morning routines, school preparation, drop-offs and pick-ups, afternoon activities, homework and meals.
- Full-Day Nannying: Providing engaging, age-appropriate care throughout the day, including play, outings, activities, meals and maintaining established routines.
- Casual and On-Call Care: Offering flexible childcare for families requiring occasional, short-term or last-minute support.




- Hotel Babysitting: Providing professional, attentive childcare for families staying in hotels across Sydney, including visiting and travelling families.

About you

- Warm, nurturing, patient and genuinely passionate about childcare.
- Reliable, punctual, professional and well-presented.
- Confident caring for children of different ages and developmental stages.
- Engaging, proactive and able to plan age-appropriate activities.
- Responsible, safety-conscious and attentive to each child's individual needs.
- Flexible and willing to accommodate different family routines and care requirements.
- Excellent communicators who can build positive relationships with parents and children.
- Experienced in childcare, with newborn or overnight experience highly regarded for relevant positions.
- Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Current National Police Check, current First Aid Certificate including CPR, with infant and child first aid knowledge particularly important.
