We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join Icon and lead the final stages of a $50m education project, driving the project through close-out, completion and handover.

You’ll be stepping into an established project with a great site team already in place, taking the lead during an important stage of delivery and ensuring we finish the project strongly.

Based in

The role As Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of the final stages of the project,

including:

Driving the programme through completion and handover

Leading and supporting the existing site team

Managing client, consultant and stakeholder relationships

Coordinating subcontractors through final works and close-out

Driving defects, commissioning and handover activities

Maintaining oversight of commercial, programme, quality and delivery priorities

Identifying and resolving outstanding risks and issues

Ensuring the project is handed over to a high standard

About you We’re looking for someone who can come in, quickly understand the project and confidently lead the team through the final stretch.

You’ll ideally have:

Project Manager experience with a head contractor

Experience delivering projects of a similar scale and complexity

Strong project close-out and handover experience

Excellent client and stakeholder management skills

Strong leadership and communication skills

A practical, solutions-focused approach to delivery
