Lead the architecture and design of complex, large-scale network environments. Develop technical strategies, reference architectures and design standards to support future growth. Drive network performance, resilience, scalability and operational efficiency. Assess emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned with long-term business objectives. Partner with engineering teams, technology vendors and external service providers to deliver robust network solutions. Provide technical leadership across major infrastructure initiatives, including design reviews, implementation planning and operational handover. Mentor experienced engineers and influence architectural best practices across the organisation. Work closely with senior stakeholders to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions. What we're looking for

12+ years' experience across network engineering and architecture, ideally within telecommunications,



service providers, cloud or large-scale technology environments. Extensive experience designing and delivering complex, high-availability network infrastructure. Strong technical expertise across IP networking, routing protocols and MPLS. Experience with optical transport technologies and large-scale connectivity solutions. Proven experience developing network architectures, technical standards and design documentation. Strong understanding of network resilience, redundancy, performance optimisation and capacity planning. Experience evaluating technology vendors and influencing strategic technical decisions. Demonstrated ability to lead complex architectural discussions with both technical and executive stakeholders. Australian citizenship or permanent residency. Why consider this opportunity?
