WHAT’S IT LIKE WORKING WITH US?

We’re a young, family-owned automotive workshop with a background in light vehicle repair and mechanical engineering. We love cars, problem-solving and understanding why something is happening with a vehicle, rather than simply replacing parts.

We’re also big on people. We want our customers to feel comfortable, listened to and confident that we genuinely care about their car and the work we’re doing.

As a small team, everyone gets involved, shares ideas and learns from each other. We don’t expect you to know everything, we certainly don’t! What matters to us is curiosity, asking questions and being open to learning from different perspectives.

We value work-life balance, flexibility and creating an environment where you can keep developing your skills. And if you have your own project car, you’re welcome to work on it in the workshop outside of work hours.

THE KIND OF WORK WE DO

We love fault diagnostics and take pride in taking on complex mechanical jobs and figuring out the why behind a problem — not just replacing a part and moving on.

We’re also a general automotive workshop, so you’ll get a good mix of:

· Fault diagnostics and troubleshooting

· General and major servicing

· Transmission servicing

· Suspension, steering and brakes

· Driveline and mechanical repairs

· Engine rebuilds

· Differential rebuilds

· Complex mechanical repair work

We work across petrol, diesel, and hybrid vehicles, so there’s plenty of variety.

OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN BEYOND THE WORKSHOP

For the right person, there will also be opportunities to learn and get involved in some of the engineering work we do, including CAD design, 3D printing, prototyping, testing and analysis.

You don’t need to already have these skills. If you’re curious and interested in learning, we’d love to help you develop them overtime.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

· An automotive trade qualification, e.g. Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology and/or Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis and/or Mechanical Engineering Background.

· Solid hands-on experience as an Automotive Mechanic/Technician with petrol, diesel, and/or hybrid vehicles.

· Experience carrying out mechanical repairs, general and major servicing and diagnostics

· A current Victorian Driver License

· Strong attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of safety.

THE PERSON WE’D LOVE TO MEET

Qualifications and experience are important, but the way you think matters to us just as much.

· Is genuinely passionate about cars and sees themselves growing in the automotive industry long-term.

· Is naturally curious — someone who wants to understand not just what needs fixing, but why it happened.

· Enjoys diagnostics, problem-solving and getting stuck into challenging jobs.

· Has an open learning mindset, regardless of experience, and enjoys sharing knowledge with the team.

· Takes pride in doing things carefully, precisely and properly.

· Is friendly, approachable,

brings valuable energy and can have a laugh.

· Enjoys working on their own cars and projects.

· Values customer relationships. We like to have a chat, get to know our customers and their cars, make them a coffee and create an experience that feels personal.

· Bonus, but definitely not a requirement: If you’re creative, comfortable on camera or have fun content ideas, you’re welcome to get involved in our social media and give customers a behind-the-scenes look at the workshop.
