Responsibilities:
Oversee daily bakery and front of house operations to ensure smooth workflow efficiency, and consistent product quality Collaborate with bakers and kitchen staff on product planning, seasonal offerings. and production schedules based on customer demands Plan and coordinate special orders, pop ups, markets or promotional events, ensuring high standards of execution and customer satisfaction Manage procurement, liaise with suppliers, set product pricing and monitor costs to maintain quality within budget Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and financial transactions to support effective business operations and reporting Ensure compliance with all food safety, health and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean, safe and well rpesented working environment Engage with customers to gather feedback, resolve concerns and continuously improve service and product offerings Recruit, train, supervise and support bakery and front of house staff, fostering positive, productive and customer focused team culture Oversee customer service operations including order management, customer interactions,



and support during peak service period Qualification and Experience Required At least 3 years relevant Experience Relevant qualification are highly regarded, but not essential Skills Required Proven experience managing a cafe, bakery or hospitality venue Strong leadership, staff training and rostering skills Budgeting, cost control and stock management skills Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations Excellent customer service and communication skills Experience coordinating events, markets or special orders About Company Kraken Sourdough is a locally operated artisan bakery and food business, specialising in handcrafted sourdough breads and baked goods made using traditional fermentation methods and high quality ingredients.
