Carpet Place Floorworld is seeking an Estimator/Sales person to join our team in Townsville, QLD. This full time role is responsible for providing accurate quotes and tenders

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients clients in-store and attending their homes to measure and quote

Reviewing plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine material and labour requirements

Preparing detailed cost estimates, including material, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs

Scheduling contractors for jobs and attending site meetings with supervisors and contractors

Presenting estimates to clients, answering questions and addressing concerns

Assisting clients clients in-store and attending their homes to measure and quote

Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and changes that may impact project costs

What we're looking for





Strong skills in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and other project documentation

Ability to complete the administration required for each opportunity

Effective communication and presentation skills to liaise with clients, builders and project managers

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team

Living in Townsville, or looking to relocate
