About the Role

St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychology and Science Teacher to join our Secondary Years team for a full time, contract commencingTerm 1 2027.

In this role, you will deliver engaging Psychology and Science learning experiences that foster curiosity, critical thinking and a deeper understanding of human behaviour. Working as part of a highly skilled teaching team, you will contribute to curriculum delivery, student wellbeing and the ongoing mission of excellence in teaching and learning across the Secondary School.

What You Bring

- A relevant qualification in Education with teaching subject qualifications in Science and/or Psychology.
- A current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) Registration.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Senior QCAA Psychology and Science in a secondary school setting.
- Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment and reporting requirements within a secondary school environment.
- Strong classroom management, organisational and time management skills.
- Commitment to the College's Christian ethos and values.

The Upper Primary provides a program tailored to meet the needs of students in Years 5–6. St Peters Junior High offers Years 7-9 students a program to support young adolescents.
