The Role

This is NOT another churn & burn Site Supervisor role. We’re looking for a long-term team member who knows building, cares about the details and enjoys dealing with people.

You may already be supervising, but more likely you’re a carpenter ready to take the next step off the tools. A trade background is essential; previous supervision or local experience isn’t. We’re happy to train the right person in the “Nexus way”.

You’ll work with homeowners, subcontractors and our office team to coordinate trades, check workmanship and keep projects safe, organised and moving forward.

Being well presented and having a sharp eye for detail are essential. We’re working in people’s homes, so how you communicate, present yourself and look after the site matters.

What We’re Looking For

A solid trade background—particularly carpenters with well-rounded skills in framing, cladding and second-fix carpentry.

A professional, well-presented manner.

An eye for detail—you notice the things others walk past.

Pride in keeping sites clean, tidy and well organised.

Clear communication with clients, trades and the office.

Strong organisation and time management—you follow things through.

Enthusiasm for the job and a willingness to learn.

Renovation experience is a bonus. Trade knowledge, the right attitude and care for the finished product are essential.
