Lynn & Brown Lawyers, one of Perth’s most progressive law firms, located in Morley are currently seeking a proactive and highly organised Legal Assistant/Secretary. Working closely with our commercial lawyers, experience within a busy law practice will see you quickly become an integral part of this dynamic team. In this full time position, you will draw upon your initiative, the ability to work autonomously along with an understanding of confidentiality. You will have a skilled approach, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships.

The Role

As part of our team, you can expect your duties to include:

Email and diary management

Typing, collation and electronic lodgment of various court documents

Drafting of correspondence

Preparation of contracts

Liaising with clients and third parties

You

To be considered for this position, it is critical that you possess the following skills and experience:

Minimum of 3 years experience within a similar role

Proactive, confident and diligent work ethic

Strong organisational skills

Be able to work within a team environment as well as autonomously

Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with Directors and other senior staff members

Strong technical skills in regards to Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and Actionstep/Netdocuments)

Knowledge of PEXA, Landgate and OSR highly desirable

The ability to prioritise your work effectively

Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of clients
