THE POSITION:

This position provides strategic leadership and operational oversight across the People and Culture service cluster, ensuring the delivery of contemporary Human Resources, Health and Wellbeing, Governance and employee support services. The role is responsible for delivering high-quality,responsiveservicestotheorganisationwhileprogressivelyevolvingthefunctionto better enable organisational performance.

The Service Leader People and Culture plays a critical enterprise leadership role as part of the Executive Team, driving organisational performance through people. This includes identifying systemicworkforceandculturalchallenges,shapingworkforcestrategy,and deliveringpractical,



scalable solutions that improve capability, culture and outcomes across AlburyCity.

Akeyfocusoftheroleistobalanceservicedeliverywithcapabilitybuildingensuringleadersare supported while also being equipped to lead effectively and independently. This includes strengthening leadership capability at all levels, embedding contemporary people management practices, and reducing reliance on transactional support through uplift in skills, tools and accountability.
