About our client: Randstad is pleased to be partnering with our client who are a growing business based in West End, Brisbane. They are seeking a Payroll Compliance & Finance Projects Specialist to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis.

What’s on offer?

- 12-month fixed-term contract
- $120,000 – $140,000 + Super
- Hybrid working model (4 days in office, 1 day remote)
- West End, Brisbane location
- Wide-ranging and engaging role combining core payroll with high-level projects

About the role:

Reporting into the Finance Director, your time will be split between payroll processing and key compliance projects (approx. 2 to 2.5 days per week dedicated to payroll):

- Handling end-to-end multi-state payroll processing and compliance
- Managing complex pay-correction work and reconciliations
- Driving payroll compliance, audit support, and award interpretation




- Partnering with the business on payroll and finance project initiatives
- Responding to complex payroll and compliance queries in a timely manner

About you:

- 5+ years experience in multi-state, award-based payroll positions
- Strong background in payroll compliance, audit, or project-based payroll work
- Proven experience using large payroll systems
- High level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Full and unlimited Australian working rights
