Skilled Landscape Labourer | Cammareri Landscapes | Newcastle & Hunter Valley

Casual, with full-time on offer for the right candidate | $35/hr | Mon–Fri, 7am–3:30pm

About us

Cammareri Landscapes has been building quality outdoor spaces across Newcastle and the Hunter Valley for 21 years. We’re a small, close-knit team and we like it that way. Everyone knows their role, everyone looks out for each other, and everyone takes pride in what we put our name on.

We’re not the right fit for everyone, and that’s fine. If you’re just after a job to fill the week, this probably isn’t for you. But if you like hard work, get satisfaction from seeing a job come together properly, and want to be part of a team that backs you, read on.

This role starts casual, with a genuine pathway to full-time for the right person. Show us what you’re about and the hours will follow.

What the role looks like day to day

You’ll be on the tools alongside our tradesmen and apprentices, delivering quality residential landscape construction across Newcastle and the Hunter Valley: excavation and site prep, base preparation, retaining walls, paving, drainage, planting and turf.

You’ll be a key set of hands on site. That means keeping the job moving, running machinery, keeping the site clean and safe, and backing up the crew so the work gets done right. You’ll represent Cammareri in front of clients with respect and care.

Some overtime and occasional Saturday work is part of the job when projects need it, and we respect that your time matters too.

The kind of person we’re looking for

Skills matter, but so does attitude. We’re looking for someone who:

Works well in a small team and looks out for the people around them

If your workmates would describe you as reliable, hard-working and easy to get along with, you’re who we’re after.
