Private Tax Advisory Manager | Fully remote

Maven Partners is working with a growing mid tier firm seeking a Private Tax Advisory Manager to join its team. This is a fully remote role for anyone based in Australia and has full working rights. You’ll be reporting into a Partner who has built several Private tax teams across Sydney and New South Wales.

This opportunity would suit an established Manager or an experienced Assistant Manager ready to take the next step. You will work closely with Partners on complex private client matters, helping business owners and family groups navigate significant commercial decisions.

For someone who enjoys technical tax work and building client relationships, this role offers the opportunity to develop as a trusted adviser within an expanding practice.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing tax advice to private businesses, high net worth individuals and family groups

Advising on business and investment structures, restructures and transactions

Working across CGT, Division 7A, trusts and small business CGT concessions

Supporting succession planning and intergenerational wealth transfer

Managing client engagements, identifying advisory opportunities and delivering commercially practical advice

Reviewing technical work and mentoring junior team members

Working closely with Partners to support the growth of the private tax practice

About You





Experience in private client tax or business services within a professional services firm

Robust Australian tax knowledge and experience advising privately owned groups

CA/CPA qualifications, with further tax studies viewed favourably

The ability to manage engagements and communicate complex advice clearly

An interest in developing others and building lasting client relationships

A desire to take greater ownership of advisory work and your career progression
