We're searching for an experienced, senior-level Legal Secretary (8+ years' experience) to join a highly respected law firm in Blackburn, providing comprehensive legal secretarial and administrative support to the firm's Managing Partner.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is a career Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant, enjoys working closely with their lawyer in a one-on-one capacity, and takes pride in building strong relationships with clients. Working across Wills & Estates and general Commercial matters, your role will involve all aspects of practice support, including:

- Preparing correspondence, emails, file notes and other legal documentation
- Assisting with the preparation of Wills, Probate documentation, Costs Agreements and Estate Administration matters
- Managing diaries, appointments and client meetings
- Dictation,



typing and document formatting
- Liaising directly with clients and other stakeholders
- File management and general practice administration
- Preparing initial billing drafts
- Keeping the practice organised and running smoothly

This is a traditional, hands‑on Legal Secretary role where your experience, initiative and ability to anticipate what's needed will be highly valued. Previous experience supporting a lawyer in Wills & Estates is important , together with strong communication, document preparation and organisational skills. Just as importantly, we're looking for someone who enjoys their work, takes ownership of their responsibilities and values being part of a close‑knit team.

Please note: This is a full‑time, office-based position.
