Online Warehouse Team Leader Afternoon Shift – Picking, Packing & Dispatch

Reporting to the Online Team Leader day shift, the Online Warehouse Team Leader will coordinate daily picking, packing and dispatch activities, lead the warehouse team and ensure efficient workflow throughout the online fulfilment operation. The successful applicant will lead by example, remain actively involved in warehouse duties and ensure team members follow established procedures, work safely and achieve daily performance targets. Initial 2 weeks training will be conducted on Day shift (at day shift rates).

Key responsibilities

Coordinate and allocate daily picking, packing and dispatch tasks

Supervise and support warehouse team members to achieve daily targets

Monitor staff productivity, attendance and work quality

Train new employees in RF scanner use, picking procedures, packing standards and dispatch processes

Provide coaching and feedback to improve team performance

Oversee online order picking using RF scanners and the warehouse management system

Ensure products, quantities and locations are scanned and verified correctly

Monitor order progress and prioritise urgent orders and courier cut-off times





Ensure orders are packed securely, labelled correctly and ready for dispatch

Maintain organised picking locations and adequate stock availability

About you

Previous experience in a warehouse team leader, supervisor or senior warehouse operator role

Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems

A solid understanding of order picking, packing, inventory control and dispatch

Proven ability to coordinate workloads and lead a team in a fast-paced environment

Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on order accuracy

Good organisational, communication and problem-solving skills

The ability to manage competing priorities and meet daily dispatch deadlines

A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to work alongside the team

A strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement

A current forklift licence (LF) is preferred
