GEARS Mining is an Australian family-owned company providing specialist maintenance solutions and products to mine sites located across six continents.

Due to continuous business growth and ongoing customer demand, GEARS Mining requires a highly motivated Storeperson / Trades Assistant to take responsibility for the receiving, warehousing and dispatching of goods to meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities and Duties.

- Unloading and loading goods from courier and delivery services safely & efficiently while also checking for accuracy and condition of items
- Safely stacking and organising stock within the warehouse area
- Labelling and packing of stock items
- Complete regular stocktakes to ensure continuous accuracy of stock and availability
- Picking and packing orders for exports, local shipments, & third-party requirements
- Receiving stock into our Inventory System accurately and on time
- High Level of physical fitness and capable of regular lifting/movement




- Have basic understanding of chain of responsibility with regards to restraints & strapping procedures
- Possess high safety focus pertaining to machinery operation
- Keeping the warehouse in a clean and safe state at all times

Candidate Experience and Key Attributes

- Forklift Licence (essential)
- Safety first mentality
- Computer literate - experience and confidence using computers and operating systems such as Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Highly motivated and strives for personal, professional, and organisational growth
- Willingness to learn and assist within the Warehouse & Workshop Teams as needed
- Experience working with technical drawings and mechanically minded
- Ideally 5+ years of experience in the warehouse industry
- High level of autonomy, exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Customer focused (internal and external), cooperative, and teamwork
