Seeking a proactive Finance Officer (Banking& Cash Management) with good communication skills to join DCS FinancialControl for a temporary opportunity until mid April 2027.

Temporary opportunity until mid-April 2027, with a potential extension of up to 12 months, subject to operational requirements.

Clerk Grade 5/6, salary range: $102,936 - $113,579plus super

About the role

You will work with various finance teams tocoordinate banking transactions and distribution of appropriation funding fromNSW Treasury.

Applicants will ideally have SAP and postingjournals experience.

Day to Day responsibilities:

Review and validate fortnightly cashdrawdown schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance with fundingrequirements.

Monitor multiple bank account balances andproactively identify potential cash shortfalls or funding requirements.

Assist in the preparation, analysis andmonitoring of short-term and medium-term cash flow forecasts, providinginsights to support funding requirements, liquidity management andinformed decision-making.

Assist with the investigation,reconciliation and clearance of unidentified banking transactions.

Support the management of bankingarrangements across newly established business unit bank accounts andensure transactions are directed to the correct accounts.

Liaise with Government Shared Services andother stakeholders to facilitate urgent banking and cash transferactivities.

Prepare monthly journals and providesupport to business units in relation to cash transfers, inter-agencytransactions and cost recoupments.





Contribute to the enhancement andcontinuous improvement of cash forecasting, banking and treasury-relatedprocesses.

Work collaboratively across FinancialControl and the broader organisation to deliver effective cash managementoutcomes.
