Love coffee, cards and community? This one's for you.

OnePlace Trading Card Store is Port Macquarie's home for collectors and players. We stock Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, sports cards and more, and we run tournaments, launches and play nights. Now we're adding a café, and we need the right person to build it.

This isn't a standard café job. You'll set up the café from the ground up, from the menu and suppliers to how it runs day to day. Then you'll run it your way. When the café is quiet, you'll be on the shop floor selling cards and chatting with customers who share your interests.

If you collect, trade or play cards yourself, you'll fit right in. Your knowledge and enthusiasm will be a real asset with our customers. If you're a card-curious hospitality pro, we'd love to hear from you too.

What you'll do

- Set up and manage the café, including its menu, layout, procedures and standards

- Make outstanding coffee and serve food to a consistent standard
- Order food and supplies, manage stock and minimise wastage
- Build rosters and manage café costs and margins
- Oversee food safety and compliance
- Sell cards and accessories, help customers and support in-store events

What you'll bring

- Proven experience setting up and running a café
- A solid grasp of ordering, rostering and margins
- A current Food Safety Supervisor certificate, or willingness to get one
- Warm, confident customer service
- Availability for weekends, school holidays and event days
- Bonus points for a personal interest in trading cards or tabletop games
- The chance to build a café from scratch and make it your own
- A fun, welcoming workplace built around a hobby community
- A small team where your ideas are heard
