Lead a flagship multi-site luxury dealership operation in Brisbane

Automotive Talent has been engaged to find an experienced Dealer Principal for a leading prestige automotive business in Brisbane. The business is one of the most prominent in the Queensland luxury market, operating across multiple sites with a full-service offering that includes an in-house bodyshop. It has a strong customer base, a respected team and the backing of a globally recognised premium manufacturer.

This is a senior leadership role. You'll own the performance, culture and customer experience of the whole operation, and set its direction for the next stage of growth.

The role

Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll run all sites and departments: new and pre-owned vehicles, service, parts, bodyshop and administration. Your focus will be:

- Commercial performance: driving profitability across all sites and departments and delivering against budget, volume and KPI targets
- Multi-site leadership: leading, developing and keeping a high-performing team of managers and front-line staff across several locations, and building one consistent culture people want to stay in
- Bodyshop operations: growing bodyshop profitability and efficiency, including insurer and manufacturer-approved repairer relationships, repair quality, cycle times and capacity
- Customer experience: giving every customer a truly premium experience at every site, with a sharp focus on CSI and retention
- Manufacturer partnership:



keeping a strong working relationship with the manufacturer and delivering on brand standards, programs and the sales model
- Growth: finding and acting on opportunities in fixed operations, bodyshop, pre-owned, fleet and corporate channels
- Governance: keeping every site compliant with financial, legal, WHS and manufacturer requirements

About you

You're a proven automotive leader who is at home in a premium brand setting. You'll bring:

- A successful track record as a Dealer Principal or General Manager, ideally with a luxury or prestige brand
- Experience leading multi-site operations, or a clear ability to step up to that scale
- Exposure to bodyshop or collision repair operations, including insurer relationships (highly regarded)
- Strong financial skills, with deep understanding of dealership P&L;, departmental profitability and forecasting
- A people-first leadership style, with a record of building and keeping robust teams
- A real commitment to customer experience and brand standards
- Experience with, or a clear understanding of, the agency sales model (highly regarded)
- High integrity, commercial maturity and the presence to represent a premium brand in the Brisbane market
