The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Practice Managerto take responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of the firm.

This is a broad role spanning finance, people, systems and office operations, with plenty of scope to improve processes and take ownership of projects as the firm continues to grow.

The firm has also recently undergone a period of expansion, creating an compelling body of work around integrating teams, systems and processes.

In this role, you will be responsible for areas including:

- Day-to-day practice and office management
- Overseeing accounts which includes payroll, supplier payments and trust transactions, payments and receipting and basic financial reporting
- HR management including employment agreements, onboarding and leave
- Performance reviews, employee relations and other people matters
- Supporting and coordinating administrative staff
- Firm events and functions
- Reviewing and improving systems, workflows and processes




- Assisting with operational projects associated with the firm's continued growth

About You

We are looking for an experienced practice manager who is practical, organised and enjoys being the person who keeps everything moving.

Ideally, you will bring:

- Experience within a law firm or professional services environment
- Exposure to legal accounts and trust accounting
- Confidence dealing with HR and people-management matters
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- A proactive approach to systems and process improvement
- The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects
- Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to work closely with Partners and staff
