About the Role

An established and reputable engineering firm is seeking experienced Boilermakers to join its team for ongoing casual mine-site work.

This is a great opportunity for skilled tradespeople looking for consistent work, competitive rates and a variety of challenging projects within the mining industry.

Working across wash plant and dragline shutdowns, fixed and mobile plant maintenance and general site repairs, you'll be part of a hardworking, supportive team that values safety, reliability and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out maintenance and repairs during wash plant and dragline shutdowns.

- Perform fabrication, welding and structural repairs on fixed and mobile plant equipment.





- Complete work efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

- Work collaboratively with supervisors and other trades to meet project requirements.

- Follow all site safety procedures, quality standards and environmental requirements.

About You

We're looking for experienced Boilermakers who bring a positive attitude, solid work ethic and genuine commitment to their trade.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- Relevant Boilermaker trade qualifications and certification.

- Proven experience in fabrication, welding and maintenance within mining or heavy industrial environments.

- Strong technical skills and the ability to produce quality workmanship.

- A reliable, punctual and self-motivated approach to work.

- Ability to work independently and contribute positively to a team.

- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

- Flexibility to work across varying shutdown and maintenance schedules.

- Willingness to undertake pre-employment medical assessments and drug and alcohol testing.

Essential Requirements

- Current Coal Board Medical (CBM).

- Current Standard 11 Statement of Attainment.

- Ability to successfully complete an FCAW butt weld test to ISO standards.

- Ability to pass a practical fabrication skills assessment.

Highly Regarded

- Working at Heights.

- Confined Space Entry.

- Gas Test Atmospheres.

- Previous experience working on wash plants, draglines and heavy mining equipment.

Location & Work Arrangements

Mine-site opportunities are available across varying maintenance and shutdown schedules, with accommodation provided for applicable work arrangements.

This position is offered on a casual basis, with regular opportunities available for the right candidates.
