THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Principal Architect to join our Brisbane office.

The Principal Architect will act in a leadership role, whilst delivering professional architectural / design services across the VHD Studio business entities. Key performance expectations include:

Leadership and oversight of project delivery to achieve agreed program, high quality, financial and client project brief objectives.

Active contribution to business development, client relationship management and growth of the VHD Studio architectural business entity.

Effective management, mentoring and professional development of architectural staff, graduates and students.

Maintenance of high skilled standards, quality assurance procedures, risk management practices and compliance with relevant registration requirements.

Contribution to studio leadership, operational improvement and the ongoing development of the architectural business entity's systems, culture and technical capability.

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years post graduate experience as a registered Architect.

Skills & Experience

Advanced use of Autodesk Revit

Experience in independent project coordination - from site acquisition to construction completion

Experience coordinating consultants & stakeholders

Experience managing clients

Skilled at interpreting architectural plans and technical documents

Current knowledge of BCA/NCC, industry Legislation, Codes and Standards

Strong organisational skills including the ability to manage your own time within tight timeframes (experience with Total Synergyproject management software an advantage)

Microsoft Office(including Microsoft Teams) proficiency at a high level

Experience mentoring junior team members
