SCL Support Services is seeking compassionate, reliable female Disability Support Workers with experience supporting people with psychosocial disability and mental health support needs.

We welcome applications from workers in Coraki, Woodburn, Evans Head, Casino, Lismore and surrounding areas who can reliably attend shifts in Coraki.

About the role

You will provide person-centred support at home and in the community, helping participants build confidence, maintain daily routines and work towards their goals.

Duties may include:

- Providing calm, consistent emotional and practical support.
- Supporting daily living, personal care and household tasks as required.
- Assisting with appointments, shopping and community participation.
- Encouraging independence, choice and meaningful activities.
- Following individual support plans and completing accurate progress notes.





We're looking for someone who:

- Has experience supporting people with psychosocial disability.
- Understands recovery-oriented and trauma-informed support.
- Communicates calmly and responds respectfully when someone is distressed.
- Builds trust while maintaining skilled boundaries.
- Is dependable, patient and comfortable working independently.
- Holds a current NDIS Worker Screening clearance, First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Has a current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.

Experience with positive behaviour support and de-escalation is highly regarded.
