About the role

You will undertake precision TIG welding and fabrication on tanks, vessels, pipework and associated components. This is a long-term chance based in Henderson, WA with a consistent workshop base and flexibility to attend site a few times each year when required.

Key responsibilities

- Performing 6G TIG welding to approved welding procedures and project specifications

- Preparing materials, completing fit-up and maintaining accurate alignment

- Reading engineering drawings and interpreting welding procedures

- Completing fabrication, repairs and maintenance to required quality standards

- Working to inspection, testing and weld traceability requirements

- Maintaining safe work practices in the workshop and on site

About you

- Relevant Boilermaking/Welding trade qualification

- 6G TIG welding qualifications or coding, with strong practical TIG experience





- Experience welding stainless steel and carbon steel

- Relevant experience with tanks, pressure vessels, heat exchangers or piping systems

- Ability to interpret drawings and work to welding procedure specifications

- Willingness to complete a weld test if required

- Reliability, attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety

- Availability for occasional site trips throughout the year
