MediFAST is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and motivated Event Medics to join our growing team

We are seeking individuals who enjoy working in dynamic environments, have a passion for providing quality patient care and are confident responding to injuries, illnesses and medical emergencies.

As an Event Medic, you will be responsible for delivering qualified first aid and initial medical care to event participants, spectators, staff and contractors at events across Sydney and surrounding areas.

With over 20 years of experience in event medical services, MediFAST provides medical coverage for a diverse range of events, including festivals, concerts, sporting competitions, community events, exhibitions, corporate functions, and television and film productions.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide timely and appropriate first aid assessment and treatment for injuries and illnesses.
- Respond promptly and professionally to first aid requests and medical emergencies.
- Assess, triage and prioritise patients based on the severity and urgency of their condition.
- Recognise clinical deterioration and upscale care appropriately.
- Work collaboratively with fellow medics, paramedics, nurses, doctors, event organisers and emergency services.
- Take the lead in patient assessment and treatment when appropriate to your qualifications and scope of practice.
- Assist with the setup, preparation, maintenance and pack-down of medical equipment and first aid facilities.
- Maintain operational readiness and ensure medical equipment is available for emergency responses.
- Complete accurate patient care documentation and incident reports.
- Maintain a professional, approachable and respectful attitude when interacting with event staff, participants and the public.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements





- Current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) certification or recognised equivalent.
- Valid Working With Children Check.
- Valid National Police Check.
- Current driver's licence.
- Availability to work weekends, with flexibility to undertake weekday shifts.

Desirable Qualifications

- Certificate II in Emergency Medical Service First Response (HLT21020) or relevant equivalent.
- Certificate III in Basic Health Care or other relevant healthcare qualification.
- Certificate IV in Health Care (Ambulance) or relevant equivalent.
- Advanced First Aid qualification (e.g., HLTAID014) or equivalent.
- Provide Pain Management (PUAEME008) or recognised equivalent.
- Current enrolment in a nursing, paramedicine, medicine or other relevant healthcare degree.

Previous experience providing first aid or medical support at events will be highly regarded.
