The Domestic Aviation and Reform Division is recruiting APS6 officers to work on nationally significant aviation priorities. You will contribute to work that has economic, environmental and community impact, while gaining exposure to senior decision-makers, industry and governments across Australia.

The Domestic Aviation and Reform Division provides policy leadership, regulatory stewardship and program delivery across Australia's domestic aviation sector. The division develops advice for Government, regulates leased federal airports and associated environmental and planning frameworks, administers aviation programs and grants, supports aviation consumer reforms, and works with industry, airports, communities and other governments to maintain a safe, competitive, sustainable and connected aviation system that serves Australia's national interests. We have several opportunities at the APS6 level.

Candidates will be required to demonstrate their willingness to develop their cultural capability as part of the assessment process. In making it a requirement across all roles in our department, we are taking a practical step in delivering our commitments under the Our Stories on Country Agreement and the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategy 2025–28.
