About the opportunity An established and growing organisation is looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join its finance team on a permanent part time basis. This is a newly created role in a friendly, supportive team, ideal for an experienced finance professional wanting genuine flexibility in a permanent position.

The role

What you’ll be doing

- Processing transactions and maintaining accurate records

- Completing reconciliations and supporting month end

- Raising invoices and following up payments

- Responding to routine finance queries by phone and email

- General finance administration and process documentation

About you





- 5+ years in an assistant accountant, finance officer, bookkeeping or accounts role

- Strong AP and invoicing experience

- Excellent written communication skills

- Strong attention to detail

- Confident with accounting systems. ERP and cloud accounting experience highly regarded

- Intermediate Excel
