We are seeking an exceptional communications professional to join our Education and Public Affairs (EPA) team.
As a Communications and Media Lead, you'll lead a small EPA team, overseeing the design, implementation and evaluation of a key ACNC project to build the competence and confidence of low-resource and at-risk charities.
The project includes delivering a program of educative events as well as tailored guidance for a diverse audience who may comprise volunteers, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and time-poor charity administrators who require succinct instructive information in accessible formats.
You will oversee the delivery of the project, including developing appropriate plans, program schedules, overseeing staff and reporting on outcomes. You'll engage with suppliers and topic experts as well as stakeholders that include relevant peak and skilled groups to build resources and relationships that will support the effective implementation of the program.
You will apply your knowledge of communication and education principles to ensure all products are tailored to the needs of the audience and delivered in an appropriate format. You’ll work with stakeholders across the ACNC to develop content, guide and mentor less experienced staff to build capability and continuous improvement within the team.
The Australian community requires the highest integrity of ACNC staff.
Our ideal candidate also acts with integrity, makes ethical decisions and embodies our cultural traits and APS values.
You must be an Australian citizen to work for the ACNC.
We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, culturally and linguistically diverse people and people with disability or neurodivergence to apply.
