Cootamundra Health Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a 12-week contract basis, commencing 9 November 2026. Based in Cootamundra, NSW, this role offers the opportunity to work in a agile acute healthcare setting where you’ll assess emergency presentations, prioritise patients, and deliver timely emergency interventions. You’ll be part of a team committed to providing quality emergency and acute care to the local community.

- 12-week contract role in a busy Emergency Department
- Start date: 9 November 2026
- Hands-on clinical work in triage, assessment, and emergency interventions

Preferred Requirements

- Minimum 12 months of recent Emergency Department experience
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS)

- Demonstrated competence in triage assessment and patient prioritisation
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Post-graduate qualification in Emergency Nursing or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems
