Located in the heart of James Street, within The Calile Hotel precinct, St Albans Hospitality is home to Hellenika, SK Steak & Oyster, Sushi Room and Sunshine. Each venue offers its own unique dining experience, with a shared commitment to exceptional produce, quality and outstanding hospitality.

As our group continues to grow, we're looking for passionate and talented people to join our Back of House teams, with opportunities available for Kitchen Hands, Commis Chefs and Chef de Parties across our venues.

The Opportunities

We have a range of casual opportunities available across our kitchens. Working alongside experienced chefs and hospitality professionals, you'll be part of a team that takes pride in delivering exceptional food and memorable dining experiences.

Depending on your role and experience, your responsibilities may include:

- Preparing and presenting dishes to consistently high standards.

- Working confidently across your section to ensure a smooth and productive service.

- Working with fresh, premium ingredients and quality produce.

- Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards.

- Supporting your fellow chefs and contributing to a positive, team-focused kitchen.





- Assisting with food preparation, cleaning and kitchen operations as required.

About You

We're looking for people who genuinely enjoy working in hospitality, take pride in what they do and bring a positive attitude to work.

Ideally, you'll have:

- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or Back of House environment.

- A genuine passion for food, quality ingredients and great hospitality.

- The ability to work confidently in a busy, fast-paced kitchen.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

- A reliable, organised and team-focused approach.

- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends.

- Full working rights in Australia.
