About the Role: As a Bar Person at our Japanese Izakaya Restaurant, you will be running a dynamic bar, handling beverage preparation, craft cocktails, and exceptional guest service. Your expertise in spirits, sake, cocktails, and Japanese beverage culture will set the standard for high-quality drink presentation and guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Bar Operations & Mixology: Prepare and present creative cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer with high speed, precision, and presentation standards.
- Guest Service & Experience: Take drink and food orders, serve guests directly at the bar and tables, provide beverage recommendations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Product Knowledge Sharing: Utilize and share deep knowledge of cocktails, sake, Japanese spirits, and beverage pairings with guests and team members.
- Bar Management & Stock: Maintain strict cleanliness, hygiene, organization, and stock levels across the bar and service areas.
- Team Support & Communication: Assist floor and kitchen staff during peak service hours, communicating priorities and ensuring a smooth workflow.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- RSA Certification: Must hold a valid,



current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- Bar & Mixology Experience: Demonstrated professional experience in crafting cocktails, pouring wines/beers, and running efficient bar setups.
- Japanese Beverage Knowledge: Strong knowledge of sake, Japanese whiskies, and spirits (or a strong passion and willingness to learn quickly).
- Communication & Demeanor: Energetic, outgoing personality with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Speed Under Pressure: Ability to maintain composure, speed, and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility: Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends.
