At State Swim, we’re looking for a Business Analyst who brings curiosity, initiative and the technical skills to help shape our next chapter.

Every week, tens of thousands of children come through our doors across Western Australia, Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales and Singapore, building skills and confidence in the water. Behind every lesson is a network of people, systems and processes working together to deliver our purpose: developing safe and confident swimmers.

The opportunity

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll work closely with leaders and teams across the business to turn data into decisions and ideas into practical improvements.

You’ll have room to explore opportunities, challenge existing processes and see your work make a difference across our swim schools. One day, you could be building a dashboard that reveals an opportunity to improve customer retention; the next, connecting systems, automating a time-consuming task or helping a new site get up and running.

Where you’ll make your mark

- Make our systems work smarter. Administer and improve our booking, CRM, finance, HR, learning and development, and business intelligence platforms. Keep them reliable, connected and ready to support our growth.
- Give our people time back.



Build integrations and automate repetitive tasks using APIs and tools freeing teams to focus on work that makes a difference.
- Turn information into opportunity. Develop clear dashboards, reports and data models that help leaders understand performance, spot trends and act with confidence.
- Bring AI ideas to life. Identify and trial practical applications for AI, measure their impact and help teams use current tools confidently and responsibly.
- Find a better way. Work with teams to understand everyday challenges, simplify processes and deliver improvements that benefit employees and customers.
- Help shape our growth. Support new site setup, acquisition integration, system upgrades and strategic projects, taking solutions from requirements through to implementation and ongoing support.

What makes you a great fit You’re an analytical thinker with a practical streak. You enjoy understanding how things work, asking thoughtful questions and following through with solutions.

You also know that successful change starts with people. You listen, make technical concepts easy to understand and help others feel confident using new systems. Our People First approach means the experience of the person using your solution matters just as much as the technology behind it.

You’ll bring

- A degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Information Systems or a related field.
- Experience in business analysis, business systems,



process improvement or strategy.
- Hands-on experience administering business platforms and supporting users.
- Advanced business intelligence skills, including data modelling and dashboard development, ideally using Power BI.
- Practical experience with APIs and integration or automation tools.
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve productivity, analysis or business processes.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail and sound judgement around data privacy and security.

Experience with SQL, Python or PowerShell, implementing AI solutions, or supporting a multi-site service business or acquisition integration would be highly regarded. Why join State Swim?
