Optimum Machining Services is seeking a full-time Cabinet Maker to join its team in Campbellfield, Victoria.

This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced tradesperson with strong cabinet making and assembly skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key duties include:

- interpreting drawings, specifications and cutting lists
- measuring, cutting, shaping and assembling timber, laminate and other materials
- manufacturing and installing cabinets, joinery and custom-made furniture components
- operating woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- carrying out edging, laminating, fitting, sanding and finishing work
- installing hardware including hinges, handles, drawer runners and related fittings
- inspecting finished products to ensure quality and compliance with specifications




- maintaining a clean and safe work environment in accordance with workplace safety procedures

Applicants should have:

- relevant cabinet making or joinery experience
- the ability to read and interpret workshop drawings and plans
- experience using relevant tools and machinery
- good attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- the ability to work effectively within a team workplace
- reliable attendance and a strong work ethic

Position details:

- full-time role
- 38 hours per week
- based in Campbellfield, Victoria
- salary of $76,515 to $88,920 per annum plus superannuation, based on 38 hours per week
