Casual | Mobile Coffee, Gelato & Ice Cream Vans

About the Role

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Casual Barista/Food Van All-Rounder to join our team.

This is a varied, hands-on role working across our mobile coffee, gelato and ice cream vans at a range of events and locations throughout Sydney.

While barista experience is essential, the successful applicant will also be comfortable performing a variety of other duties including serving and scooping gelato and ice cream, preparing cold beverages, taking customer orders and providing friendly, productive customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparing quality espresso coffee and other beverages
- Scooping and serving gelato and ice cream
- Preparing a variety of cold beverages
- Taking customer orders and processing payments
- Providing friendly, professional and efficient customer service
- Maintaining a clean, organised and well-presented service area
- Restocking products, cups, ingredients and supplies throughout the shift
- Assisting with set-up, pack-down and general cleaning
- Following food safety, hygiene and company procedures
- Working efficiently during busy event and peak service periods




- Assisting the team with general food van duties as required

About You We are looking for someone who:

- Has previous barista experience and is confident making espresso coffee
- Has excellent customer service and communication skills
- Is friendly, reliable and well presented
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Is happy to work across all areas of the van, not just the coffee machine
- Can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Takes pride in cleanliness, presentation and quality
- Is flexible with availability, including weekends and events
- Is comfortable working in a mobile food van environment
