Remuneration: As per applicable award and employment classification gather by Cater Care is seeking friendly, reliable and customer-focused Catering Assistants to join our new food service operation at Trinity College, opening in January 2027.

As a Catering Assistant, you’ll help deliver smooth, efficient food service while supporting the kitchen team and creating a positive experience for students, staff and guests. From assisting with meal service and keeping dining areas clean to supporting kitchen operations, you’ll play an important role in the day-to-day running of this university college environment.

With a range of weekday and weekend shifts available, this is an opportunity to join a new team and build your skills in a supportive hospitality environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality, friendly and professional customer service, ensuring students, staff and guests feel welcomed and well looked after
- Assist with food and beverage service, responding to customer requests promptly and courteously
- Maintain clean, tidy and inviting dining and service areas to create a positive customer experience
- Support food preparation,



meal service and general kitchen duties to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Work collaboratively with chefs and team members, following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures

- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional approach
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, customer service or a commercial kitchen is advantageous
- The ability to follow instructions, work efficiently and adapt in a busy environment
- A reliable, team-oriented approach and a commitment to cleanliness, food safety and quality service
- A willingness to complete relevant pre-employment checks, including a National Police Check and Working With Children Check, as applicable

Available Rosters We have a variety of permanent part-time roster options available:

- Weekday Catering Assistant: Monday to Friday, 7.00am-3.00pm | 38 hours per week
- Weekday Catering Assistant: Monday to Friday, 7.30am-2.30pm | 32.5 hours per week
- Weekend Catering Assistant: Saturday to Sunday, 3.30pm-8.30pm | 8 hours per week
- Weekend Catering Assistant: Saturday to Sunday, 7.00am-3.00pm | 15 hours per week
- Weekend Catering Assistant:



Saturday to Sunday, 7.30am-2.30pm | 13 hours per week
