Work alongside culinary leaders at CATALINA, one of Sydney’s most celebrated fine dining destinations. Situated right on the water in Rose Bay, CATALINA is renowned for its premium Modern Australian cuisine, commitment to sustainable wild-caught seafood, and an established reputation for culinary excellence—proudly holding One Hat in the SMH Good Food Guide.

We are currently seeking passionate, driven Full-Time Qualified Chefs to join our high-performing kitchen team.

What You’ll Be Doing

· Craft & Execute: Prepare exceptional dishes across both high-volume à la carte and exclusive function dining.

· Rotate & Grow: Master every section of our kitchen—including hot entrée, meat, cold entrée, and fish.

· Collaborate: Work directly with our Executive Chef and Head Chef to implement exciting new menu creations.

· Maintain Excellence: Take pride in strict quality control, section management, and precise stock control.

· Safety & Compliance: Acquire and maintain relevant Food Safety Supervisor and First Aid qualifications supported by NSW standards.

What We’re Looking For

· Qualifications: Relevant Diploma in Hospitality/Commercial Cookery.

· Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Chef in a fast-paced,



high-end commercial kitchen.

· Skillset: Confident working independently, capable of running a busy section under pressure, and adaptable across all kitchen stations.

· Flexibility: Availability to work a dynamic schedule including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.

· Must have unrestricted permanent work rights in Australia (Citizen, Permanent Resident, Graduate Visa, or Working Holiday Visa with full capacity).

Pay: $79,500.00 – $80,250.00 per year
