Combining traditional Japanese techniques with contemporary innovation, Nobu delivers an exceptional dining experience and is renowned for excellence on a global scale.

We have two exciting opportunities available at Nobu Sydney for experienced culinary professionals looking to advance their careers as either a full-time Junior Sous Chef or Sushi Chef de Partie.

As a Junior Sous Chef, you will play a key role in leading service, supporting kitchen operations, mentoring team members, and maintaining the high standards that define the Nobu brand.

- Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie within a premium dining environment
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop kitchen teams
- Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, and quality standards
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment
- Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences

As a Sushi Chef de Partie,



you will bring strong experience in sushi preparation and Japanese cuisine, with a passion for quality, precision, and presentation.

- Previous experience as a Sushi Chef in a premium restaurant or luxury hospitality environment
- Strong knife skills and experience preparing sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and seafood
- Excellent knowledge of Japanese culinary techniques and presentation standards
- Sound understanding of HACCP and food safety practices
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining exceptional quality and consistency
