Beach House Coomera is proudly a part of a privately owned local Hospitality Group with multiple venues across South-East Queensland.

We are looking for qualified Chefs & Cooks to join our Beach House Bar & Grill Coomera location for both casual & full-time positions.

Our venues

- 200+ seat restaurant & bar
- Lunch and dinner 7 days
- Breakfast on Saturday and Sundays
- Modern open style venue with state of the art fit out

Tasks & Responsibilities of the role:
- Ensure food preparation and quality is of the highest standard possible
- Manage stock levels and follow company procedures and recipe guidelines
- To prepare, cook and present (or otherwise delegate to other kitchen staff) food for consumption
- Providing guidance and mentoring to junior members of the kitchen staff
- Ensure hygiene is maintained to the required standards
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen during and after service

- Be able to work well in a team environment and lead by example
- Excellent technical knowledge with experience in all cooking techniques and styles
- Happy to work in a busy fast paced kitchen
- Versatile availability of a 7 day/night roster
- Work well under pressure
- Appreciate quality and pay attention to detail
- Be dedicated and passionate about furthering your career

- Have full working rights

1 Year of relevant employment experience is required and you will ideally also hold relevant vocational or tertiary qualifications Having your own method transport to get to and from work is preferable.
