Lead the funding, development and commercial optimisation of one of Australia's most significant critical minerals projects

WA1 Resources is advancing the Luni Project, a globally significant niobium discovery which is a world-class development opportunity.

As WA1 enters its next phase of growth, we are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Chief Financial Officer to join our Executive Leadership Team and help shape the future of the business.

This is not a traditional reporting-focused CFO role. We are looking for someone who is excited by the journey and wants to play a defining role in a once-in-a-career opportunity.

We are looking for a strategic and commercially astute executive who has successfully navigated the journey from studies through financing and into project development and construction. You will play a central role in how WA1 funds, develops and optimises the Luni Project while supporting broader corporate growth and value creation objectives.

You will be equally comfortable discussing capital structures with financiers, negotiating strategic transactions, understanding and evaluating detailed project economics, and partnering with engineers and project leaders to drive incredible commercial outcomes.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the Board and Executive Team, you will:

- Lead WA1's financial and commercial strategy during a critical phase of project development.
- Develop and execute funding and capital management strategies to support the advancement of the Luni Project.
- Drive project economics, capital allocation and commercial decision-making across studies and project development activities.
- Lead engagement with lenders, strategic investors, advisers and financing counterparties.
- Support the evaluation and execution of strategic transactions, partnerships, offtake opportunities and funding arrangements.
- Work closely with project, engineering and technical teams to ensure development decisions optimise value,



financeability and long-term project outcomes.
- Provide commercial leadership across key project investment decisions and development milestones.
- Maintain solid governance, financial controls and risk management appropriate for an ASX-listed company.

About You To succeed in this role, you will bring:

- Significant executive leadership experience within an ASX-listed mining or resources company.
- Demonstrated experience progressing a mining project through studies, financing and development.
- Strong capability across project financing, debt and equity funding structures, capital allocation and strategic transactions.
- Experience with offtake negotiations, strategic partnerships, M&A; and other commercial transactions.
- Deep understanding of mining project economics and value drivers.
- An ability to engage confidently with technical and project teams and translate operational decisions into commercial outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working with Boards, financiers, strategic investors and advisers.
- A pragmatic, agile and solutions-focused leadership style.
- A desire to be part of a collaborative, high-performing team building a company through its next stage of growth.
