About the role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll play an key role in keeping customer orders moving smoothly from enquiry through to production and delivery. You'll work closely with our customers and internal teams to ensure jobs are entered correctly, deadlines are met and customers receive the service they expect. This role involves more than just answering emails and phone calls.

We're looking for someone who is happy to get involved, take initiative and assist with other areas of the business when needed, including dispatch and stocktaking.

Key responsibilities

- Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a friendly and professional manner.
- Prepare quotes, process orders and enter job details accurately into our systems.
- Liaise with customers regarding artwork, proofs, job progress and delivery timeframes.
- Coordinate with production, design and dispatch to keep orders moving.
- Follow up on outstanding quotes, customer approvals and jobs in progress.
- Maintain accurate customer records and job documentation.
- Assist with dispatch, packing, stocktaking and general operational duties as required.




- Identify issues early and work with the team to find practical solutions.
- Provide general administrative and customer service support across the business.

About you

- Previous experience in customer service, administration, sales support or a similar role.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Good attention to detail and confidence working with computers and business systems.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
- A proactive approach and the confidence to use your initiative.
- A willingness to learn, ask questions and take on new tasks.
- A practical, team-focused attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed.
- Experience in printing, manufacturing or a production-based environment would be an advantage, but it's not essential.
