About the Role WOW Recruitment are partnering with an established business in the HVAC and refrigeration industry, looking for a Counter Sales & Warehouse Support professional to join their team in Yatala.

This is a varied, customer-facing role with a strong focus on sales, customer service and converting sales opportunities. You'll be the first point of contact for customers at the trade counter, over the phone and via email, helping them find the right products, process orders and quotations, and identify opportunities to grow existing customer relationships.

Alongside your sales responsibilities, you'll support the day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving stock, picking and packing orders, managing inventory and coordinating dispatch. We're looking for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, has a proactive approach to sales and is equally comfortable getting hands-on when needed.

A background in HVAC and refrigeration is essential for this position, alongside proven sales ability and a current forklift licence with practical warehouse experience. You'll need to be confident identifying customer needs, recommending suitable products and following up opportunities to help drive branch performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

Counter Sales & Customer Service: Assist customers at the trade counter, over the phone and via email,



responding to enquiries and helping them identify the right products for their requirements.

Sales & Business Growth: Proactively identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, promote relevant products and follow up quotations and enquiries to convert opportunities into sales.

Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with trade customers, understand their purchasing patterns and product requirements, and identify opportunities for repeat business.

Orders & Quotations: Process customer orders accurately, prepare quotations and ensure products are sourced, fulfilled and delivered within agreed timeframes.

Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of the product range to provide informed recommendations, communicate product availability and pricing, and deliver a positive customer experience.

Warehouse & Inventory: Support warehouse operations by receiving and organising stock, picking and packing orders, assisting with stocktakes and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Forklift & Dispatch: Assist with stock movement, order dispatch and deliveries, ensuring warehouse activities are completed safely and efficiently.

Branch Support: Work closely with the Branch Manager and wider team to support sales targets, maintain a well-organised branch and contribute to overall branch performance.

You Will Have

- A background in HVAC and refrigeration - essential.




- Proven sales ability and a proactive approach to identifying and converting sales opportunities.
- Strong customer service skills and confidence engaging with customers face-to-face, over the phone and via email.
- Good product knowledge and the ability to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- A current forklift licence and practical experience working in a warehouse environment.

- Experience with order processing, quotations, stock management or dispatch.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
- Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to balance customer enquiries, sales activities and warehouse responsibilities.

- Strong problem-solving skills, a positive attitude and a professional approach.
- A commitment to workplace health and safety and safe warehouse practices.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn internal systems.

Oracle experience would be advantageous.

This role would suit someone currently working in HVAC or refrigeration parts sales, trade counter sales, technical product sales or a similar environment who enjoys building customer relationships and actively contributing to sales growth. You'll need to be comfortable balancing a sales-focused role with practical warehouse duties, so a hands-on attitude and willingness to support the wider team are important.
