The opportunity:

The Drafting & Design team is four robust, and each member has been there more than 10 years on average. That says a lot about the place. Steady enquiries and continued growth mean they now need an experienced Designer/Draftsperson to grow with them.

You'll work closely with the Drafting & Design Manager, splitting your time roughly 70% design and 30% drafting. Your main focus will be developing the companies new standard plan designs and producing client-specific designs. You'll also do some documentation for new standard plans and prepare planning drawings as needed.

This is ideally a full time permanent opportunity,



however can offer the position on a part time basis for the first 12 months. Also, for the right person, there's a genuine longer-term path into a leadership role.

About You:

You're a creative and technically capable designer/draftsperson who cares about the quality of your work. You have strong opinions about design but know how to listen and take constructive feedback onboard.

You'll bring

- 3+ years of design/drafting experience either in an architectural practice or residential builder
- Strong design skills across residential typologies
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD
- Solid understanding of the NCC and R-codes, planning frameworks, and construction documentation
- Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and visual
- A proactive attitude and the ability to manage your own workload
