About the role

We're looking for an organised, reliable Dispatch Coordinator to run the flow of goods in and out of our site. You'll be the link between production, sales, customers and transport providers, and you'll make sure every order leaves accurate, well packed and on time.

Key responsibilities

- Arranging deliveries by our own vehicles, couriers or customer pick-up, and choosing the right, cost-effective transport option for each job
- Picking, packing, staging and loading orders, and checking delivery dockets for accuracy
- Contacting customers and site contacts when orders are ready
- Receipting inwards goods against purchase orders and reporting any discrepancies
- Keeping internal systems up to date with delivery and receipting information
- Helping with stock monitoring, stocktakes, Kanban and dispatch consumables
- Keeping the dispatch area clean, organised and safe
- Working closely with the Production Supervisor on job changes, delivery issues and damaged or missing items




- Completing end-of-day dispatch tasks and site lock-up

About you

- Current forklift licence (LF) and driver's licence (essential)
- Experience in dispatch, warehousing, logistics or a similar role, ideally in manufacturing or construction supply
- Strong attention to detail with dockets, quantities and paperwork
- Comfortable with computer systems and email
- Explicit, professional communication with customers, couriers and the team
- Self-motivated: you keep busy during quieter periods by preparing upcoming jobs and keeping the area in order
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to safety
