Casual - Day Shift 6am – 2pm

Latitude Recruitment is seeking an experienced 7-tonne Forklift Operator to join the Dispatch team at a busy local timber mill in Mount Gambier. If you've got your LF licence, solid forklift experience, and you're looking for flexible casual work on a consistent day shift we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

This is a casual role working day shift hours across a variety of days per week. You'll be operating a 7-tonne forklift in the dispatch area, working closely with the production team to ensure timber products are loaded and dispatched safely and accurately.

What You'll Be Doing

- Operating a 7-tonne forklift safely and efficiently across the dispatch area
- Loading and unloading trucks in line with dispatch schedules
- Preparing, checking, and dispatching customer orders accurately
- Maintaining an organised and safe dispatch area
- Communicating effectively with drivers and other team members




- Following all WHS procedures and site safety requirements

What We're Looking For

- Current LF Licence - essential
- Proven experience operating 7-tonne or similar large forklifts - essential
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Ability to work a versatile casual roster across varying days per week
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to pass all pre-employment checks including drug and alcohol and medical
